Nordic Media Resilience Forum

Nordic Media Resilience Forum

Our upcoming Forum 25-27 March 2026

The Nordic countries are facing both sustainability and hybrid security threats. We experience that today’s debate put security and sustainability issues in different silos. We believe they need to be discussed in one room with youth in the lead if we wish to build truly resilient societies. The Nordic Media Resilience Forum strive to give young people a stronger voice in the Nordic countries, improving resilience in our part of the world.

The project stimulates innovative collaborations between youth organisations, media, business, civil society and academia, defending the Nordic region in the information war and developing innovative green, resilient solutions in a constructive media landscape, including social media and citizen journalism.

25-27 March we meet at the boat Borgila at Söder Mälarstrand in
Stockholm. We are 60 researchers, journalists and journalist students,
representatives from youth organisations and entrepreneurs.

During six months we have brainstormed on how to find innovative solutions to the polycrisis the Nordic region is facing, and how we as journalists, researchers and activists can find innovative solutions.
The end result of this seed project, just like the Baltic/Ukrainian Media
Resilience Forum, is to formulate a joint action plan for at resilient Nordic Media Ecosystem.

Possibly, these two initiatives can merge into one Nordic/Baltic/Ukrainian Forum.

Financed by Nordic Council of Ministers, Nordic Culture Point.
