President of the Susainable Journalism Partnership.
I have more than 30 years’ experience of journalism and strategic communication. For 15 years I worked as a reporter. For the last 15 years I have worked mainly as and advisor and consultant to media organisations, Sida, The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Stockholm Culture Centre, OECD/DAC, Swedish Prime Minister’s Office, UN Habitat, the Regional Kurdish Government in Iraq and Swedish tech companies such as Ericsson and ABB. For two years, I was stationed in Managua, Nicaragua, working at the Nicaraguan Centre for Human Rights.
Education
I have a Bachelor in Journalism and Master studies on Strategic Communication in a Development context at Stockholm University. I have also studied journalism at the School of Communication at Boston University and arts at the University of Sorbonne in France.
Personal
Apart from journalism, my passion is music. I play any instrument I can get my hands on and I previously worked at the Swedish Folkopera and the Stockholm Culture Centre.
